Refund Policy

1. Physical Goods

You have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving any physical product, in line with UK and EU distance-selling rules.

However, many of our products — including printed books and other goods produced through print-on-demand partners (e.g., Bookvault, Printful, Gelato) — are made to order.
These items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect.

For all non print-on-demand physical goods, you may cancel and return within 14 days of delivery, provided the item is unused, in original condition, and in its original packaging. Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty.

2. Faulty or Incorrect Physical Goods

If a product is faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund within 30 days of delivery.

After 30 days (up to 6 months in the UK/EU), you may request repair or replacement; if neither is possible, a refund may be issued, minus reasonable depreciation.

Printed books and POD items will be reprinted or refunded in accordance with our fulfilment partners’ quality-control policies.

3. Digital Products (PDFs, Spell Guides, Courses)

Due to the immediate delivery and non-returnable nature of digital content, all digital products — such as PDFs, spell guides, downloadable workbooks, and view-only course materials — are non-refundable once accessed or downloaded, in accordance with UK/EU consumer law.

If a digital product is defective (e.g., corrupt file, broken link), contact us for a replacement or fix.

Digital products are licensed for personal, non-commercial use only. Redistribution, copying, or resale is strictly prohibited.

4. Subscription Services

Subscriptions renew monthly and provide access to the specific content included in your chosen plan.
This may include Turning Wheel courses, the Craft Journal, Book of Days, exclusive rituals, or other subscriber-only material, depending on your tier.

You may cancel at any time to stop future billing.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing cycle.

Subscriptions are non-refundable once access has been granted for any part of the billing period.

If a renewal or service fails to meet your legal rights, cancellation or remedy may be available under UK and EU subscription regulations.

5. Export Charges, Customs & Duties

Import duties, customs fees, and taxes for international shipments are the customer’s responsibility unless otherwise stated at checkout.

We are not liable for customs delays, fees, or seizure of goods.
Please check local regulations before ordering.

6. Delivery Issues & Lost Items

If your parcel is lost or damaged, notify us within 7 days of the expected delivery date.

We will assist in raising a claim with the courier or fulfilment partner, but liability may be limited in cases of third-party delivery failure.

7. Insurance & High‑Value Shipments

Optional shipping insurance may be available at checkout.
If insurance is declined, the customer assumes full risk after dispatch.

For high-value shipments, we recommend recorded or insured delivery.

8. How to Return an Item

To begin a return, email orders@theancientirishcraft.com with “Returns” in the subject line within:

14 days of delivery for standard cancellations
30 days for faulty/defective items

You will receive instructions depending on product type:

Print-on-demand goods and printed books: Eligible only if defective, damaged, or misprinted. Supporting photographs may be required.
Non POD goods: You may need to return the item to the address provided. Return addresses vary by supplier.

All returned items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.

9. Processing Refunds

Refunds (minus return shipping costs where applicable) will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned item or confirmation from the fulfilment partner.

Subscription renewals are not refundable, but you may cancel future payments at any time.

10. Exceptions & Final Sale Items

Refunds or cancellations are not permitted for:

Custom or personalised items
Opened herbal products or remedies
Digital downloads once accessed
Any item marked as non-returnable at the time of purchase
Print-on-demand items (including apparel, mugs, framed prints, and printed books) unless damaged, defective, or misprinted

11. Compliance & Consumer Rights

Physical goods: You have the legal right to cancel within 14 days of receiving the item. Faulty goods are protected for a minimum of 6 months under UK and EU consumer laws.

Digital goods: By accessing or downloading digital content, you acknowledge that your cancellation right is waived once delivery begins.

International customers: We aim to comply with consumer protection standards globally. Our return and refund terms are clearly stated at purchase and apply consistently across all orders.

We may update this policy to reflect changes in law or business practice. The most recent version is always displayed here.
