Shipping Policy

Please read carefully before placing an order with The Ancient Irish Craft™

1. Order Processing

Orders are typically processed within 2–5 business days (excluding weekends and public holidays).

Delivery estimates begin after this processing period.

2. Shipping Destinations & Availability

We ship worldwide. If your country is not listed at checkout, please contact us.

3. Shipping Methods & Costs

Shipping options and costs are calculated at checkout and may include standard or express services.

Import duties, customs fees, and VAT are the customer’s responsibility unless explicitly stated otherwise.

Printed Books (Including Bookvault Orders)

Printed books are produced and dispatched by our professional print partner.
Production times may vary by region, but most book orders are printed within 3–5 working days before shipping.

Delivery estimates (after production):
UK: 2–4 working days
USA: 7–12 working days
Europe: 5–10 working days
Rest of World: Delivery times vary by destination

Actual delivery times may vary due to customs checks, courier delays, or seasonal volume.

Printed books are produced on demand and are non-returnable unless damaged, misprinted, or faulty.

4. International Shipping & Customs

You may be liable for local import taxes and duties.

We are not responsible for customs delays, fees, or seizure of goods.

Printed books may be shipped from the nearest available print facility.
This may reduce customs fees, but import duties or VAT may still apply according to your country’s regulations.

5. Delivery Performance

UK consumers: Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods must be delivered within 30 days, unless otherwise agreed.

EU and international consumers: Similar distance-selling laws apply. Delivery is expected within a reasonable timeframe, generally 30 business days.

If delivery exceeds 30 days, you may request resolution (replacement or refund).

6. Lost or Damaged Items

Notify us within 30 days of the expected delivery date if goods are lost, damaged, or incorrect.
We will assist in initiating a claim with the courier or fulfilment partner.

7. Cancellations & Returns

Most products are made-to-order (print-on-demand). These items are final sale and cannot be returned unless damaged, defective, or misprinted.

Non-POD goods may be cancelled and returned within 14 days of delivery, provided they are unused, in original condition, and return shipping is paid by the customer unless otherwise required by law.

8. Faulty or Mis‑described Goods

If goods are faulty or not as described, you are entitled to a refund, repair, or replacement within 30 days.

After 30 days (up to 6 months), you may request repair or replacement; if unavailable, a refund may be issued, minus reasonable depreciation.

9. Third‑Party Fulfilment

We partner with trusted third-party fulfilment services (e.g. Printful, Gelato) for production and delivery.
Refunds or replacements for defective or misprinted goods will follow our fulfilment partners’ policies.

For printed books, we work with Bookvault (and other print partners where applicable).
Defective, misprinted, or damaged books will be reprinted or refunded in line with Bookvault’s production standards.

10. Insurance & Lost Package Coverage

Some couriers offer optional shipping insurance at checkout.
If insurance is declined, customers assume risk of loss after dispatch.

For valuable shipments, we recommend recorded or insured delivery.

11. Tracking & Customer Support

You will receive tracking details where available once your order ships.

If your parcel is delayed or tracking stalls, email us at orders@theancientirishcraft.com, referencing your order number.

We aim to respond to shipping enquiries within 10 business days.

12. Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy to reflect legal or logistical changes. The latest version is always available on this page.
